He is an imperfect clon of Superman with the same powers but pale white skin, a speech impediment and certain degree of mental retardation and if frequently portrayed with an imperfect body or either cracks or sharp corners in his face. One of his most notable characteristics is a mental/speech imediment that makes him mean the opposite of what he says (like bad meand good to him) as well as the fact that he lives in a squared version of the Earth where everithing is an imperfect opposite version of everything he knows from the original.
Bizarro first appearance is unclear. There is a newspaper sequence by Al Schwartz and Curt Swan in October 1958 and an October - November dated comic book in which he appeared that might have came in August.
