Darkseid (Uxas), a DC Comics supervillain member of the Darseid's Elite and enemy of Superman and the New Gods, appeared in Superman: The Animated Series and Justice League, played by Michael Ironside.

In Superman: The Animated Series, Darkseid starts infiltrating Earth through the underworld criminals of Metropolis, slowly testing Superman and the people of Earth until he decides to invade in Apokolips.. Now!. After he fails and New Genesis declare Earth under its protection, he retreats and go back to using underworld contacts, but in the two part episode Legacy he makes a second atempt.

In Justice League, he focuses more on the Anti-life equation.

Kenner produced as Darkseid action figure. It comes with a weapon that never appeared in the series.
For the Justice League action figure line, another Darkseird figure was produced. It looks closer to its targeted design than the previous.
