Deadshot, a. k. a. Floyd Lawton, is a DC Comics supervillain, enemy of Batman and member of the Government's fictional superteam known as Suicide Squad. He is a suicidal assassin who wears a colorful costume in the hopes that someone will shoot him. He is considered the second greatest assassin in the DC Universe, the first being Deathstroke. The character was originally created by writer David Vern and artistLew Schwartz.
