  • Comissioner Gordon: (about Scarecrow) You're telling me that the walking pile of straw scares the stuffing out of sport stars, and bet against their teams?
Batman: Exactly, a perfect way to scare up some quick cash for his quick schemes.
  • Scarecrow: (about the athlete) Shouldn't he frustrating himself crying for mercy?
    Batman: Change of luck, Scarecrow?
    Scarecrow: You!
Batman: You aware that gambling is illegal in Gotham?

It would take more than this (presents a vial) to bring every pathetic person to Gotham to their knees kissing my feet! (Batman closes) No closer, Batman unless you wanted half crazed humanity crashing and clawing with each other. Oh, no.
