Growing Pains is an episode of The New Batman Adventures, aired February 28, 1998.
[edit] Plot
Tim Drake encounters an amnesiac little girl named Annie who is being stalked by a heavy man she claims to be her father. As he tries to help her, he begins to have feelings for her. It is soon revealed, however, that her "father" is Clayface, and she is not human, but an extension of his body. She is then sacrificed into Clayface's body. Clayface is later arrested, but Robin complains he should be charged with murder for the automaton's fate.

- Clayface's last appearance on the show. He would later appear in Justice League where he joined Gorilla Grodd's Secret Society of Supervillains in "Secret Society".
- Francesca Smith plays the quiet Annie, in contrast to her brash, passionate role on Hey Arnold! as bully Helga Pataki.
- This episode's flashback explains how Clayface survived his apparent death in the first-series episode "Mudslide".
