Heart Of Steel is the 38th and 44th episodes of the first season of Batman: The Animated Series. It first premiered on November 16 and 17, 1992.

High-tech secrets are stolen from Wayne Enterprises by a robot and Barbara Gordon suspects that her father is not himself. Both instances lead to a plan by H.A.R.D.A.C., an Artificial Intelligence computer created by Karl Rossum, to supplant humanity with machines. Batman soon investigates, only to put his identity and life on the line.
