I've Got Batman In My Basement is twelfth episode of Batman: The Animated Series. It's the first appearance of the Penguin in the series. It first aired on September 30, 1992. It was written by Sam Graham & Chris Hubbell and directed by Frank Paur.

After Batman is injured by the Penguin, two kids who saw it hid Batman in one of the kid's home. The Penguin, however, follows them, and fights the heroic preteens, who distract him long enough for Batman to recover and defeat the Penguin.

Many fans do not like the episode for its alleged cuteness and poor script. [1] Bruce Timm himself has commented that the script and story are terrible. [2]
