Killer Moth (a. k. a. Cleer Van Cameron), is a DC Comics supervillain, enemy of Batman and Robin, characterized by dressing in a spandex costume that emulates a moth and saving criminals from the police, created by Bill Finger and Lew Schwartz in Batman #66 (February 1951), during the late golden age of comics but developed during the silver age of comics, being in consecuense, part of the continuities known as Earth-1 and Earth-2.
The original pre-Crisis version of the character, which is virtually the same in both continuities, is a threat to the point that he actually learned Batman's true identity and was part of the Secret Society of Super Villains. However, in the post-Crisis continuity, the character is reintroduced as a "loser" among the Gotham City costumed villains.
