[edit] 01
- Prose
- Prose cannot be irrelevant, repetitive or unverifiable.
- The same text can't be placed in two articles. When topics are related, the broader article can contain a summary of the more specialized, focusing on the nature of the connection.
- The content has to be neutral and objetive. Descreptions can't come from personal perception or opinions, unless the source of such adjetives is specified.
- Plot synopsis have to be written in present tense.
[edit] 02
- Lists
- When a number of similar items become the topic of an article, it is always good to use lists.
- Table lists
- When there is comparative variant information of the items of a list is available, it is always good to turn list into tables.
- Images are a good aid to help the reader identify the items when they are not obvious.
- Item summaries are optional according to the situation. If the items of the list are difficult to identify by name, a brief summary is needed (two or three lines).
[edit] 03
- Images
- It is always better to use relevant images to ilustrate the articles. Images are a good way to put the article in context.
- Image galleries always must feature contrasting and non repetitive images.
[edit] 04
- Sidebars
- When possible, a sidebar summarising the most relevant variables and characteristics of the subject of an article (or sections in some cases) has to be placed at the top of the article. #The sidebar of a topic can't be placed in more than one article.
[edit] 05
- Navigation bars
- When available, vertical navegation bars (wide bars with a list of sub-articles of a broader topic) must be placed at the top of the article or respective section.
- When available, horizontal navegation bars (wide bars with a list of the most relevant articles of the same category) must be placed at the bottom of the article.
