Summer Gleeson a fictional supporting character created for Batman: The Animated Series by Bruce Timm and Paul Dini, played by Mari Devon. She is a popular reporter and talk show hostess present at almost every important social event in GothamCity. The character is most commonly used either as an information source to solve crimes or as a devise to narrate or describe important events in the city, nevertheless, she has also been the hostage victim of criminals like the Joker, Lock-Up and Kyodai Ken.
