New villains also make his debut in the series, some are already known from the Batman mythos, like Harley Quinn, Black Mask, Clayface/Basil Carlo, Killer Moth and Tony Zucco; and some are created for the series, like the Everywhere Man, Number One, Francis Gray, Rumor and the Joining. All villains from the previous seasons return at least for cameo appearances. For the season finale, a very Batman Begins-like Lucius Fox is revealed as one of Batman main allies and The Martina Manhunter and The Justice League make their first appearances.
This season has many episodes that got the best reviews of the series, particularly A Matter Of Family[1], Strange New World[2], The Breakout[3], Two Of A Kind[4], Riddler's Revenge[5] and The Joining[6]
