The Mad Hatter (a. k. a. Jervis Tetch) is a DC Comics character, enemy of Batman created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger making reference to the character created by Lewis Caroll for Alice in Wonderland.

His mayor trademark is looking and dressing exactly like the Mad Hatter from Caroll's novel, and his gimmick consist on using hats with mind controling devices to make people do his willing. Jervis is completely delisional and believes himself to be the Mad Hatter and associates every real world event to the Wonderland stories.
