"The Once and Future Thing, part I: Weird Western Tales" "The Cat and the Canary"

The Once and Future Thing, Part 2: Time Warped is the thirteenth and last episode of the first season of the animated series Justice League Unlimited. The story continues and concludes the adventure started in the previous episode, The Once and Future Thing, part I: Weird Western Tales.

The Batman, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman’s chasing of the time thief, later known as Chronos, take them to the future Gotham City of Batman Beyond, just in time to face a battle between the remaining members of the Justice League of that era and the branch of the street gang previously led by the Joker himself, called the Jokerz (as seen on The Return of the Joker movie). Right after the time travelers identify Batman II, a very aged Static Shock and Warhawk, who immediately reveals himself as son of Green Lantern, they all join forces to win the battle. Later, the time travelers are taken to the Justice League Unlimited hiding-place. Where they meet their leader, a 40 years older Bruce Wayne, who reveals the Jokerz were enhanced and, under Chronos lead, managed to kill the rest of the League of that era. Then, the combined heroes defeat the retooled Jokerz, and Batman traps Chronos in a time loop, right before he started his first time travel, preventing the entire adventure they went through from happening and making the future reality they met an alternate version that never was. Since before the end of the adventure, Wonder Woman was warped out of reality, the only people remembering the events were Batman and Green Lantern.
