[edit] DC animated universe biography
The Sewer King is an outcast who founds his home or ”kingdom” below Gotham City’s sewer system raising his loyal crocodiles and using orphan children to steal in the streets and serve in strict silence as farmers and slaves in his lair. In The Underdwellers, when one of his thief orphans catches the Batman's attention, the dark knight uses his help to face and defeat the Sewer King setting all the children free, how are taken in the care of the city's authorities. When Batman finally gets his hands on the Sewer King he tells him that he usually leave the punishment up to the authorities but his rage was so much that this time he is going to make an exception.
The character was finally adapted by DC Comics, albeit posthumously, as a slain Gotham City crimelord in the pages of 52.
