"The Terror Beyond" (episodes 39 and 40) is the sixth two part episode of season two of the animated series Justice League.
Dr. Fate and Aquaman release Solomon Grundy, intent on using him to help battle an ancient evil. The pairing of these heroes is a homage to the Marvel Comics superhero team The Defenders and the plot is based upon H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos.
